Florescent light flickering

About 10 days ago the light in my kitchen went. Knowing that this type of light the problem might be the starter I went and got a new one. Installed it and was working fine for a week. Now the flickering has started. Any ideas should we replace the light tube? Or does an electrician need to have a look?

tubes last a long time. Is it looking dark at the ends?

Fluorescents are dying out now, as you can now get a "tube" that has LEDs in it, will probably last longer and be more economical on electricity

e.g. four-footer

tubes are fragile so collect it from a local electrical supplier

you have to take your old one to a council recycling centre with facilities, as the inner coating contains mercury. Don't break it. Put it in the wrapper that the new one came in for protection.

One of the ends does seem darker. It must be the tube then. Thank you for you help.
