White gloss/ satin that won't yellow?

Sorry I've searched but I'm finding contradictory info

Can anyone recommend a white paint for woodwork (picture rail, skirting) that won't fade to cream/yellow? I applied Wilko satinwood that had good reviews about 3 months ago and it's faded to cream already

Is eggshell the way forward? I admit I've never used it
I keep seeing gorgeous crisp white doors/skirting in photos and wondering how to achieve it! I'm about to paint the walls Dulux 'sea urchin 2'. The ceiling and above picture rail are already white. I want some crisp woodwork against the teal!

Budget recommendations preferred but not too fussed as long as it stays white!

Exterior gloss stays white

We've painted ours in Johnstones satinwood, so far so good.

water based paints shouldn't yellow.

Paint that is used outside, and exposed to sunlight, is bleached white by the sun but the same paint used indoors, away from windows, may yellow.

You don't have cigarettes, candles, or an open fire, do you?

The formulation of interior gloss paints had to be changed a few years ago which means it tends to go yellow quicker. Some are better than others now. I have found Dulux to be terrible for going yellow quickly. I have been using Crown solo satinwood and seems to be standing up to the test of time. It is also a dream to use.

Another vote for Crown paints. We used their white gloss that you wash the brushes in water, so very easy. It is quick drying, low odour, and stays sparkly white.

I second (from bitter experience) what eleanor says about Dulux white gloss yellowing very quickly. I am pleasantly at a gloss where you can wash the brushes in water!

Thanks PigletJohn! No smokers, no open fire and no candles since painted (very occasional tealights lit in winter - I will heed your advice). Room is NW facing but gets flooded with light in the afternoon.

I'll have a look at the Crown range! Every brand I looked at seemed to have mixed reviews online

I love B&Q own brand water based gloss. My woodwork was painted ten years ago and is still white. Also love that you can clean your brushes with water.

I would never use gloss inside and I have not done for decades! Use an interior eggshell for wood. F and B do one and our white woodwork has not gone yellow and is hard wearing. We use the exterior eggshell for outside wood too. It is a much better (modern) product than gloss and much easier to use too.

I haven't used gloss forever, not sure whether I included it
I much prefer the matt look of satin.
