Warm Farrow and Ball grey for hall

Hi we have an old Victorian house which we are in the process of renovating and I would like a Farrow and Ball grey for the hallway. Our hall is quite dark-dark floor and dark wood stairs and banister. My DH brought home 4 tester pots of F&B paint today but I'm not sure if any are just right (they are still wet so I'll check tomorrow). Does anyone have a nice warm Farrow and Ball grey on their walls they could recommend?

My fave all time grey is Cornforth white. Just the right side of light for me

I think we’ve got that one too and it’s lovely

Our kitchen is cornforth white. It’s lovely and very gentle.

Fab. We've put up testers of cornforth white, cromarty, French gray and dove tail so good to know cornforth white seems to be nice!

F&B Ammonite is nice & neutral. It's a creamy grey tone maybe have a look at that one too?

French gray is more green than grey

We have Pavilion - will go take a photo.

We love it. We also have a Victorian so can get away with it not feeling too imposing due to high ceilings. My mum tried to use at hers and seemed quite dark in comparison.

Is quite sunny out today. But you get the gist. Never feels too dark (to us anyway).

All woodwork is gloss white and the rest is Wimborne White.

Oooh I like that Poddige. Looks very similar to our style of decor with the dark wood (attached photo. Ignore the Halloween decorations we've started putting up!) I love the carnforth white now it's dried but think we'll get a tester pot of Pavillion too. Thanks for taking the time to put a photo on. It's exactly the look I'm after! 😃

I've just painted the bottom half of my hall in purbeck stone and it's a lovely warm grey.

Sorry poddige meant to ask. What's on your floor? Dark floorboards? Looks lovely.

Had to double take at Witchy at the bottom of the stairs!!

It's really dark brown wooden flooring, the previous owners put it in. Does make the room feel lovely and cosy though, especially when we can be bothered to light the fire!

We've got the original hallway tiles and they're really dark too, and it looks great with them (well, we think it does!)

Also, it's so lovely and bright in your hallway, any grey will look glorious. Hope you pop back with a photo!

We've got blackened in our hall. It's a definite grey but quite warm.

We have caluna in our lounge. Lovely warm heathery grey.

BringMeTea · 29/10/2017 18:08

Dove Tale is super warm. Not grey grey though.
