One way blinds?

Like one way glass, do they exist? Ones that let light in but the outside can’t see through.

Previous house owners positioned the toilet right in front of the window Hmm

I don’t want to change the glass or add frosting, we currently have to keep the blinds closed all the time and it’s really dark and dingy.

Yes they do, our neighbours have it and it's great. They can see out etc but you literally cannot see a thing from the outside. Contact a blind company as you may need to get them made.

Oooh really, nothing? Even at night when they’ve got the lights on inside Two?

Yes - sometimes called magic blinds. We have one from Blinds2Go in our bathroom as you can see in in winter when there are no leaves on the trees and the bath and shower are in front of the large window.
