Rough price for a loft conversion (SE)

And I do know it depends on very many factors.

But, SE England (Herts) and it would be a relatively simple conversion with a dormer on the back.

If you've had one done recently, how much did it cost?

Cheapest quote £48k for simple dormer conversion, 1 room and en suite. Not including flooring, decorating and built in wardrobes. SE - this year.

What was the most expensive quote?

£55k.

Opting for velux over dormer dropped the quotes by £10k also.

Thanks - I think we would definitely need the dormer.

Fairly expensive bit of London/Surrey borders - 42k for one bedroom and ensuite. Bathroom fittings, flooring and tiling extra but decorating included (supply own paint). It'll be just under 50k after fittings and various fees etc. Other quote was 72k! !!

£37.5k East London (work starting in January). That doesn't include bathroom tiles or sanitary ware (included fitting but not the actual items). Bedrooms plastered and ready for painting/decorating which we'll arrange separately.
