Floor and walls?

New kitchen almost finished but I can’t decide what to do with the floor or walls. Any ideas?

Howdens dove grey gloss cabinets with walnut laminate worktops

Tiles are going to to be white subway with a grey grout

Looks like a period property? I'd sand and varnish the floor.

It’s Victorian, lovely high ceilings. We pulled up a really ugly laminate floor but unfortunately the floorboards underneath are not in very good condition. I’m erring towards putting a karndean floor down but no idea what colour/finish
