This just came up in my property search email this evening, and I thought I'd share. Underneath it all, its actually a lovely house. Shame its right next to a narrow and very busy main road.

Enjoy!

Jesus Christ.

What estate agent allows pics like that in the first place?! Surely a “you’d benefit from decluttering” chat would have helped here?!

PickAChew · 13/10/2017 19:01

Wow. That makes me want to sneeze. Has the potential to be a gorgeous house, once it's been fumigated and dampcoursed, mind.

littlemissneela · 13/10/2017 19:09

I wondered if the owners have either died or gone into a home? The views of the fields behind are gorgeous.

Confused that's terrifying!

wowfudge · 13/10/2017 20:24

Christ that is going to need the mother of all cleans!

BarbaraOcumbungles · 13/10/2017 20:29

Gorgeous house though! It wouldn’t put me off viewing it at all.

HipToBeSquare · 13/10/2017 21:29

It probably looks better than the pics give it but I'm sitting here eying up be 2 bed terrace that's on the market and dreading packing it up and I'm pretty lethal with regularly decluttering.

That's a [big] skips worth for sure Smile

dantdmistedious · 13/10/2017 22:03

Wow.

If I was in the area I’d see past it though.

MissDuke · 14/10/2017 05:59

Shock Gorgeous home though, you can easily see past the mess thankfully!

ValarMorghulisss · 14/10/2017 06:06

That needs a good Kondoing Confused

The garden is the nicest bit!
If this was some suburban place you can guarantee the garden would be chock-a-block too.

CanadianJohn · 14/10/2017 06:33

The house is described as "a semi-detached period cottage". What is meant by "period" in this context?

Is it a date-range, or does it just mean "not modern"?

littlemissneela · 14/10/2017 20:44

The row of cottages is at the edge of a very old village, so I imagine they are very old.
