Switch behind a wardrobe, help!

We have had to put a wardrobe in front of the switch for our towel rail, impossible to reach to turn it on and off. We hardly ever use it (it comes on with the heating as well), but is useful this time of year where you may not want to heat the whole house but would like some dry towels.
Short of completely rewiring it, can anyone think of any bright ideas? Don't really want to cut hole wardrobe. Is there some way of remotely accessing switch?

Either cut a hole in the back panel of the wardrobe (bodge) or have the switch moved.

I think I’d just go with a hole in the back panel of the wardrobe. It’s a low hassle idea and you won’t even see it normally behind all clothes.

I was going to suggest a hole in the back of the wardrobe too. You won't notice it day-to-day.
