Removals recommendations SW London - Tooting/Balham/Earlsfield/Wandsworth

Hi - Mumsnet newbie here

We're about to move from our flat in Balham/Tooting to a house in Earlsfield next month and wondering if anyone has any recommendations for removals companies?

I'll be 26wks pg so thinking of looking to include a packing service. Does anyone have any thoughts for/against this? We probably aren't looking for unpacking too as we've got to do some work to the downstairs before we can get settled.

Any recommendations would be amazing!

So things have escalated a bit since I posted this. It looks like we're now going to need to move out of our flat into storage in a little over two weeks time...Trying not to panic!

Does anyone have any experience of doing this? Ideally we're still interested in finding a company who will pack up, remove and store. It's probably only for 2-3 weeks.

Any advice / recommendations would be massively appreciated.

Harradines or Roberts and Denny's will probably cover your area. I've used both on the past-I understand they have now merged so not sure which name they go by now. Good luck sounds like you have some busy times ahead!

Yes - some very busy times ahead! Just hoping it's all plain sailing from here and we are in and settled before the bambino arrives.

We've just moved from Earlsfield using Burke and Wills and can't recommend them highly enough - they came and packed up and moved the house in one day and were very friendly, polite and helpful when I was stressing out about everything.

I have used Green Van and Man in your area roughly before and West London. I have actually used them about 4 times and used their packing service. They are fab.

We ended up going with Gentleman & a Van. Have to say they were great. Our completion was delayed 3 hours but they took it all in their stride. Would definitely recommend them.
