Should I ask for an offer???

Not sure if I'm just clutching at straws as I am frustrated by the slow market but...

We been on the market for 3 months. One of the first parties to see the house loved it but needed to get finances sorted and sell theirs before proceeding. Once they had confirmation they could get the extra lending they put their place on the market. They then came for a second viewing and told EA they would like to make an offer but he told them there is no point as they are not proceedable until they sell. I was fine with this. That was a month ago.

Fast forward to now and we have decided to take our property off the market until the spring - I hate the constant state of anticipating a call for a viewing, often short notice and fear it will drag over the winter months.

So now I want to find out what the interested party are looking to offer and if it's right, agree to the sale so long as they sell theirs before end of February. How can I go about this without looking desperate and encouraging a low bid by doing so?

Ask the EA to find out where they are up to with their sale and let them know you are going to be back on the market next spring if they are still interested
