Help me choose paving!

Have to choose paving to go outside front of red bricked semi as we replace small patio and steps and then small patio and steps again.

Thinking of Tobermore historic in slate - what do you think?

All other advice welcomed.

We got slate, I love them - really soft and warm underfoot and they don't get manky stuff growing in them (like the sandstone we have elsewhere). Make sure you seal them.

INTERESTING as friend has us nearly choosing sandstone.
