Question about Luxury Vinyl Tiles.....

Hi
If anyone has wood effect LVT floor tiles (Karndean, Polyflor etc.) could you please tell me how easy it is to keep clean? Does grime get stuck in the grooves of the textured surface or is it not a problem?

I had cheap vinyl wood effect flooring in a kitchen years ago and it was such a pain to clean and wondered if LVT would pose the same problem.

Thanks.

We have quite a bit of LVT and also some wood parquet. The LVT is really easy to keep clean - I vacuum up the bits then use an emop, which is great at getting it really clean as it gets into all the textured grooves.

We're big steam mop fans, assume these are no good for Karndean (and similar)?

Thanks Wowfudge, that's very reassuring.

We have polyflor downstairs and we just vacuum then use a microfibre type mop, going with the grain. Nowhere near as wet as a traditional mop and dries quickly. Might do edges and tricky corners by hand occasionally as extra
