Plumming washing machine in to standpipe

Can someone please tell me which one is best by picture washer to standpipe connection pic attached am i alloud to run the drain hose along the floor behind washer

I assume the pic is sideways and either is fine as long as it goes high enough a at some point. You may find it has to go low down in order to push it back against the wall properly.

Hubby agrees...number two is preferably but due to the back of washing machine it may need to be number one... just push it well down in standpipe in case it jumps out.

Definitely no.2. Pipe from washing machine should be clipped so it can’t easily move.

Normally you get a plastic former that clips onto the pipe as it enters the standpipe so that it forms a rigid ‘n’ shape.

Yes i have u u shape hook but can i run the drain hose from the washer along the floor upto the standpipe with that u shape hook to keep it from moving as i have it like pic 2 at the minute drain hose leaves the washer at the bottom goes strait to to the top back of washer then down to stand pipe as in the shape off a rainbow but i cant clip it in that hook think when its like that
