Legal help removal firm

We are social housing who recently got decanted while work needed was carried out.
The removal firm wasn't our choice but one our association used.

The representative from removal firm came out inspected our furniture told me everything was okay to take.(was intending leaving bulky items but he insisted we take it into storage specifically stating our furniture was off a good make so would be okay to move).

Removal day ha if you could call it that. The 5 strong team hmm I use this lightly were scruffy, unprofessional openly soaring the firm they worked for. Gladly hubby was home otherwise I would have felt intimidated.
They turned up with wrong van not enough storage space and genrerally made us more stressful. They didn't use equipment to carry heavy items they were witnessed banging items like fridge freezer and washing machine up all the stairs of our temp accomadation.

The end result was a broken chest of drawers a smashed expensive mirror and a smashed Hoover. Plus washing machine door no longer closes.

I have put a claims firm in and put a complaint into the company not a great response. Considering all items are relatively new under 2 yrs old mirror from next was 225 at xmas last year. They came back with an offer off 115.00 after taking off their excess charge they offered us 65.00 on items off value of 384.00.

Can anyone help us I have refused this amount funnily the representative of company won't return my calls now.

Thanks in advance on a note we were never given an inventory of goods no paperwork ever shown to us or anything in writing about the move etc. Nothing discussed chap came and went within 5 mins off initial assessment.

Did you speak to the HA about the issues because surely they have the contract with the removal firm, not you?

Hi there I'm not getting any response from the Ha either, as we are having to claim off them for lots of furniture damage from the house being inadequate.
