Fixing toilet seat without access

I have a built in toilet which has no access to the back (unless I rip off tiles). The screw holding the toilet seat down has snapped. I can't get underneath the back of the toilet to hold a nut(?) for a screw to be threaded into from the top.

What can I use to fix the toilet seat back on without ripping everything out? The toilet seat and hinges are fine - it's just the screw that holds the hinge/seat onto the toilet that has snapped.

watching with interest as my loo seat sounds similar only the screws have loosened and I can't work it out either.

You possibly have concealed fixings which are inserted from the top. Similar to this www.bathroom-trends.co.uk/acatalog/Bemis-Seats-Concealed-Fixing-Set-2834.html

Thanks. The fixings weren't concealed when the toilet was fitted but its like I could use those fixings anyway.

Have been googling and come across Well Nuts which look they might also work.
