All I can say is we lasted a week..
couldn't bare it with 2DD's aged 2 and 8 never mind in winter my grandads house became empty so we've moved in there, it's far from schools and bad traffic but I'd take that any day over that awful bluddie caravan

Good luck.

You'll need it.

I lived in a static for 6 months. Awful experience but there were some other factors.
Poorly insulated, lots of condensation, all my clothes were damp and smelt musty.
Temperamental boiler, water would suddenly turn icy cold when using the shower.
Guy who we rented off set the price of the electric, so cost me around £10 a day (but don't suppose that would be relevant to you).
Having said that, I know two people who live permanently in statics which are better insulated and have no problems, also some property developers who buy plots, build houses and sell in while living in statics.
Theyve done this with their children from new born to adulthood.
