Osmo oil advice

Planning on using osmo oil on floorboards after sanding but just want to check if after sanding, hoovering, wipe down do I also need to wipe floor with white spirits?
Is that also same basic process when using it for furniture?

I didn't, I'm a bit impatient I just put it straight on after sanding/sweeping/hoovering and it worked fine. I put two coats on.

I used methylated spirit before putting Osmo on our worktops. But they had been Danish oiled previously and I sanded it all off. Think I found instructions online. It depends what the previous finish was of anything you want to use it on.

Floorboards haven't had anything I think and have an old Errol chair which ive sanded down, did have a varnish/ stain on.
