Shower advice please help Pigletjohn

I have one of those showers buried in a tiled wall. It needs a new cartridge, base unit and doors. Apparently as the base is on the floor rather than legs it's a pain. I have been quoted £1440. Do you think this sounds about right?

Depends what it includes.

A good round shower mixer from Aqualisa is about £500 upwards

A base maybe a hundred or two. You can get one with legs if you want
