We accepted an offer on our property a couple of months ago on the proviso that the buyer wait until we find a suitable property...and we took ours of the market. We stayed in touch via text, keeping each other updated on progress. Right up until yesterday he told me his offer still stood and chain was strong...so we made offer on a property. Whilst the estate agents were doing the checks, they found that he had made another offer on somewhere else and it was all going through! He just wanted me off the market and on the back burner as a second choice. !!!!
