Are white French doors naff?

We’re renovating a 1960’s 3 bed semi with a view to selling or renting out (currently undecided).

We’ll be replacing the windows and putting in French doors from the kitchen diner. I had lots of great idea’s but now the reality of our budget is kicking in, we’re scaling back and keeping things simpler. The windows will be white UPVC, and so I guess the French doors should be too to match, but are white UPVC French doors a bit naff / 80’s? I like the look of grey ones, but think they would look odd against white windows?

Opinions gratefully received. Thanks.

Get matching - grey French doors and white windows on the same elevation will look odd.

I'd get matching white. Think of it like this though, grey will look great now but in a few years it will look naff. Everything comes into and goes out of fashion.

Not naff at all. It's just a classic colour to go with and it's pretty timeless. All this grey stuff will look naff in a few years. Just like PVC mock wood looks dated now even though it was all the rage a few years ago.
