Softwood windows - bad idea?

Thinking of getting softwood windows with hardwood cills. Is this a bad idea? Should we pay the extra and get hardwood windows? What's the difference in terms of amount of maintenance? We won't be here forever maybe another 7-10 years.

We went for Accoya, which is a treated softwood, it has a 30 year guarantee.

So long as its well treated and maintained, softwood is fine. I did a stint in a joiners (just admin) and that's what I was told..
