What shall we go for? Im happy to be saving money on my Ikea kitchen but I'd really like a nice sink/tap combo.
Its going on my island with corian worktop - do i go corian sink? We're having a boiling water tap and i quite like the idea of the hose type taps - any tips?
Will also then need a smaller sink for the utility - shall i keep it the same or just go for cheaper as its not on display as such? Appreciate any advice and opinion please!

I find corian stains and needs lots of cleaning.

I don't believe there is any material better for sinks than stainless steel.

Franke do an amazing hose tap called Arena. It is £££, but the hose pulls out really nicely, and then clicks back in with a magnet. BIL has one and I have tap envy! I am having an Ikea kitchen too but splurging on this because it is just that good.

I think an underglued stainless steel sink offers a lot of the sleekness of Corian without the problem of staining. It's what I'm going for, anyway!
