Paging PigletJohn. How bad is this and how quickly does it need fixing?

I just noticed the state of the radiator pipe in the spare room.
No idea how long it's been like this.

I have a good plumber but it's a bank holiday weekend of course!

You have a slightly leaky joint. It is not urgent. It looks like an amateurish alteration.

If it is dripping on the floor, put a plastic biscuit box of something under it.

Ask around for a recommended local plumber. If does not need a heating engineer. Advertising websites are not personal recommendations. Look for a local number, not an 0800 of 0870 sort of number, which will be an agency.

I have a good chap who has done loads for me in the past.
I shan't worry too much. I've put a plastic tub under it and I'll get only him in the morning.

I think the pluming in this house has been done by amateurs. We are slowly putting it right.

Only him = on to him.
And of course I meant Tuesday morning
