First time wallpapering - advice please

Is paste the wall much easier than paste the wallpaper? Trying to choose a pattern! Thanks

I've just done mine for the first time. I used paste the paper and it was fine. I used ready mixed paste and put a bit on the wall as well so it was slippy. Just remember to leave the paste on for a minute to soak into the paper.
