Or more specifically isense carpets if you have them.

Doing a complete reno on our house and I've always wanted dreamt about having one of these gorgeous luxurious carpets. my big but is do they stay that way? I want them in all bedrooms and the second reception room was considering the stairs to but I've read they can be slippery.

Are they worth the money?

It's expensive for a synthetic carpet. No experience of it myself - our preference is for wool mix.

Thanks wow
I'm a carpet novice so please forgive me but can you get the same effect with the wool/felt mix, all I remember about my childhood at my grandparents house is my gran swapping carpets 6 monthly because her wool one kept fading 😩 so that's the only views I have on carpets and wool lol

Sorry - wool/felt mix? Is that the isense stuff? I thought the felt was part of the backing from what I could find. Carpet will fade if exposed to bright sunlight.

Looks like the iSense carpets are 100% polyamide with a hessian backing. Must admit, I've always gone for a heavyweight 80/20 wool twist when I've bought carpets, but then I don't like the feel of velvety carpets underfoot.

I know nothing of isense
Wool, (or a high % of wool) however, will last for decades.

we have them in 2 berooms and large stairs and landing.
We have had them in for about a year now and the same as the day they were put in.
we fell in love with these from the day we touched them. They are a different ball game.
We didnt buy from a high street shop though
done the lot for under £800 and got the thicker piles
bed 1 - 5 x 4.5
bed 2 - 4.5 x 3 ish
landing stairs - approx 6 x 2.5

Wow no idea why I mentioned wool/felt 😳 I'm a crafter and obv was thinking of the felt I use when doing that.

User do you mind me asking where from?

I just love the look and feel of it I'm glad it holds up how do you find it on your stairs though? We have been warned off due to the slippy nature

its not slippy at all, not sure where that advice came from.
we have 2 german sheps also and it holds up them tearing up and down the stairs.
