Bit of background info, trying to sell two houses (Mum's and ours) to buy a bigger property for us all to live in. Decided to use the same high street agent for both, went live with Mum's straight away for 2 reasons; thought hers would take longer to sell and she could move in with us, as she couldn't accommodate us living with her. During this time ours has been on a soft sale ie, only people who enquire with the estate agents.
Sold Mum's just before we went away (which is slowly going through the process) and instructed the EA to go live with ours the Monday we returned from holiday.
Since then (4 weeks ago) 1 viewing! We had more viewers when it wasn't live aaarrrggghhhh!
We are so frustrated with the EA, we're always having to chase for the marketing report, chase for feedback etc. We're really thinking what they are doing for us? Does their mailing list really exist? Being both on their list and neighbouring town's list we've had nothing from either of them but plentry from other EA's.
DH put a call in to them today and they're going to speak to the manager and call back tomorrow. It was their valuation that we went with too, we never even had a suggestion on what we wanted.
Any suggestions how we can proceed?
