Shower cubicle or shower over bath?

I am fortunate to have a bath in my ensuite (no shower), I am currently thinking of having the main bathroom re done. It's not a huge bathroom but it does house a bath, sink and a toilet without too much problem. I would like the main bathroom to have a shower but I can't decide whether I should just get rid of the bath and have a shower cubical or have a shower over bath?

I can't have a shower in the ensuite as there is not enough head room.

I hear so many people say that they wouldn't buy a house without a bath, just wondering what people would say about only having a bath in ensuite!

We have a cubicle and bath in the bathroom.
The bath rarely gets used. In fact I don't recall DH or DC using it and I only use it if I'm feeling poorly and then I really appreciate it. I think families with young children would definitely require a bath, but then if you have one in the en suite, issue solved. Any guests would use the shower?

If there's a bath elsewhere in the house, just a shower cubical would be fine. My (admittedly huge) bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubical which is perfect.

That's what I'm thinking. At first I was I thought a bath with shower was the way to go, now I'm starting to think it's not necessary.

If I could fit both I would!

Oh I'd definitely say shower over the bath because it's 2 in 1.

I have a walk in shower in my main bathroom and a bath in my en suite and it works fine

I bought the house like that and didn't even really think about it
