Anyone used Howdens flooring?

Currently combining kitchen and dining room and looking at various flooring options. Thought Karndean would be the way forward (low maintenance) but engineered wood and Howden's flooring could be options. Does anyone have flooring from Howden's? I always thought laminate would be a no no in a kitchen but that seems to be what they sell....

Any info would be much appreciated, thanks

We went from Karndean to Howdrns laminate, and they are worlds apart. Although both are warmer to the feet than tiles, the laminate it tappy tappy tappy which I hate. Although I do have to say it has faired very well over the last 4 years. Better than I had thought.

We had Howdens flooring in a kitchen and I was very impressed with how it looked and how tough and hardwearing it was. We also fitted it ourselves and it was pretty straightforward.

Had howdens down for a couple of years in three bedrooms and a playroom and a bit disappointed to be honest. a couple of joints have gone crappy (slight lift of the laminate). Had to do two other bedrooms a year ago and went Wickes, so far, feels better. We have also had engineered down in lounge and hallway for 10 years with kids and three dogs, it's been the best of the lot but also the most expensive. For high traffic, I would go engineered if you can.

Thanks Loumate

Howdens also do Quickstep Livyn which is vinyl..... guess Quickstep is like Karndean/Amtico....

Would be wary of Howdens full stop. We don't have e flooring but their kitchen quality is shit. And it's nye on impossible to get repairs and Spain's with out paying £££ to go through a builder ( they won't sell to public). Even though the metal handles on our kitchen cupboards keep shearing through they have NO after sales service at all - not helped that we inherited this kitchen from the previous owners in the house and their builder has now gone out of business.

Spain? Spares! Autocorrect ffs

Howdens and Wickes are the same company, so basically sell the same product range in many instances.

Wickes and Howdens are completely different companies
