Am I being ridiculous or is this only going to go downhill? We've been here 8 years and I love this house and this area, but the neighbours who moved in last year...
They have 5 children. 3 under 4. They scream to communicate it seems. High pitched, attention-grabbing, ear piercing screams. Its not just fun and laughter of kids enjoying playing out. This is another level, quite frequently. I can't bear to be outside with it, but its so awful it penetrates through walls and closed windows.
They have a rat problem under their lean-to and have done nothing about it, even had the cheek to complain about the cost of having them dealt with. They've been approached by a couple of other neighbours, but just don't seem to care.
If they have this attitude about these things (especially the rats), they are going to turn out to be the neighbours from hell aren't they? I'm going to have to move from my lovely house aren't I? I am gutted.
Please either a)tell me I'm being ridiculous b) help me come up with a master plan to address this or c) tell me to move house
