Internal doors recommendations

the time has come for us to part company with our period wooden doors (uneven, never closing, cracking up) doors and i am looking for a new set (around 9 in total) of internal doors. I dont want the cheap and cheerful B&Q/Homebase version, nor can i afford to pay £800k for the london door company.

can anyone recommend a company that makes good quality doors somewhere in between - i am happy to pay up to say £300-400 per door. would appreciate tips and links

We got our fire doors from Howdens. They are pretty good quality and quite reasonable in price.

I think Todd Doors are also supposed to be good.

oh brilliant! will check out Howdens and Todds

If you look around you should find a local timber yard that specialises in doors, they will have a better quality range than B&q. For instance somewhere that stocks the LPD range they do lovely "heritage " and "pitch pine" doors you could hardly distinguish from original ones. link
