Architect or architectural technician?

Worth spending the big bucks? There's only so much you can do with a 3 bed semi and not sure whether to save myself 1K.

Thanks

Anyone? Is it worth spending on a decent architect?

Watching with interest

Yes. An architectural technician can do the drawings for planning etc if you know what you want. An architect can do that AND come up with better ways to use the space.

Depends on the individuals on offer too - seen some really boring architects work in the past and some innovative technicians work ! ( sorry that doesn't help much !)

There seems to be a difference of around 2k! We have a dull 3 bed semi so there's only so much one can do! Double storey and loft, pretty standard, so not sure if J want to pay 3K to an architect who is going to produce what my husband sketched out on the back of a birthday card!

There's your answer then !
