Calculating lumens

Can you tell me how to calculate lumens by room? I want to buy a ceiling light for my bathroom but googling how to calculate the light intensity throws up enormously different answers.

Do you know what wattage of bulb(s) you would have used in the past? I found some useful stuff on Pinterest after finding I had no clue what I should be buying. I've taken screenshots for you.

That's helpful, thanks. Probably 100w. Will go for 1300-1500 lumens for the main light.
