Help patching up wallpaper!

We've just had new rads put in. The old ones were ancient and huge and as a result, it has now exposed some very interesting wallpaper from years past. The top is lining paper which has been painted over. How hard is this to rectify myself? Can I hang lining paper where there was none due to the rads being there or is it going to look shit?

Tbh I think it will look bad and very noticible. Think you need to bite the bullet and re do the whole wall.

Post a photo - depends how noticeable it is. If you patch the paper don't cut the shape to cover the area, use pencil to draw the outline then tear our the piece carefully. The soft torn edges will blend with the other wallpaper better without harsh lines showing.
