I written a thread the other day about our buyers solicitor fucking us all about.
We still haven't heard anything off her after receiving draft contracts in mid due, that is not down to lack of trying every man and his dog have rang/emailed her she's just awol.
Well today our vendors estate agent has rang our estate agent threatening to pull out as they haven't heard anything 😩
The vendor has inherited this house and it is currently empty they've been through a long process or probate etc. All our searches are back on said house we should be going in to get dates and sign if it wasn't for our buyers solicitor 😤
Our buyer has threatened complaints today and managed to get as far as 'searches are back and there's a couple of things building regs wise which need looking at then we'll arrange a date to come in and sign'
When does it end!!!

I don't really understand some of your post, but have you told the estate agents handling the sale for the vendor about the lack of contact and was nothing said when the vendors got in touch?

Sorry the post was quite a rant.
Yeah we've told the vendors EA, I've rang them weekly with updates, turns out they haven't relayed ANYTHING back to vendor as they've had their own in house staff problem, resulting in one being sacked with immediate effect.
It's the owner of the EA that rang our EA so imo, now I've calmed down, they haven't sold anything in a while and he's wanting his commission, our EA has never had contact with our vendors EA as they haven't rang up to even check the chain 🙄
It's all just been a fuck up from start to finish really.
