We are just having a new double gate fitted at side of house and need to decide quickly on what colour to paint it. It's a tongue & groove gate and we thought about painting it in Cuprinol Wild Thyme which our garden shed and furniture is in but we have a bright red front door and I feel this will look odd. Quite like the idea of having front door and gate same colour but don't know what - like to have a bright front door - any ideas? It's a 30s semi with part red brick on lower half of walls and part render.
