How to balance/level my fridge?

I have one of those huge 'wardrobe' size fridge/freezers in two halves. The fridge side motor is constantly grumbling - I believe this is because that side isn't level. I moved it away from the wall to decorate. Now it's back I can see that it's uneven with a spirit level. The trouble is, there's only me at home & it's too heavy for me alone to tilt/keep an eye on the level and adjust the feet! Anyone got any clever ideas how I can accomplish this single-handedly?

My fridge moos all of the time and it's flat. How much do you have in there? Empty fridges have to work harder

Can you sellotape the spirit level to the bottom of the door so it's in line with the bottom of the fridge? Then when you adjust the legs you can see the level at all times?

That's a good idea Rat although thinking about it I'm still going to need to tilt the whole thing. I was thinking of a car jack but there isn't room to get it underneath.

The fridge is moderately filled.
