Drive near bus stop

There is a bus stop outside a wall of a house we are wanting to purchase. There is already a dropped kerb. Is there anything stopping us knocking down the wall to create a drive? Bus stop seems very rarely used

Can the bus stop be moved?
Also is the bus stop near a school, so there would be lots of term time use?

Are there bus stop markings painted on the road and do they overlap the dropped kerb? We have a dropped kerb where our drive meets the road and the bus stop actually has a raised kerb for wheelchair and pushchair access. The stop used to be on the other side of our drive exit (the pole is still there) and was moved at some point to improve the sight lines. You'll need to speak to the planning dept at the council because the bus stop may need to be moved.

Thanks both. I spoke to a planning consultant today as council have so far not been helpful. It seems bus stop may not be an issue at all. No markings on the road and very rarely used. However there are other significant issues. Sigh 😔
