Light bulbs

Can anyone recommend a brand of light bulbs that last a reasonable length of time and don't disintegrate? I need E14 socket (the small screw ones) in 60w/equivalent. Amazon cheapies keep coming apart when the light bulbs blow. It's annoying. Would consider LEDs but only if they're bright enough. Thanks for any recommendations.

Ikea's lightbulbs always seem to last well. I've been happy with Energizer LED bulbs which I've bought on eBay.

Try toolstation or screwfix. Both carry branded bulbs (Philips, osram and others) prices generally better than the big sheds but always worth comparing against each other.

Poundland now do LEDs which seem to work fine.
