Little Greene Juniper Ash

Has anybody used this paint? If so, can you tell me what it's like?

I'm looking for a blue grey that's not too navy and not too pale blue.
This looks as though it could fit the bill but online it looks different in each picture.

I've used it and it is stunning. Everyone comments. Its in our north facing den and it's quite navy however - although it would probably be lighter in a lighter room. My only regret is that I didn't save it for our formal drawing room as I love it so much!

Do you have any pictures Nom?

We've just done our living room in Juniper Ash, it's absolutely beautiful. My husband was dead against it at first but spoke the words we all love to hear when it was finished: "You were right, it looks amazing" Grin

This isn't my room, but I'd say this is representative of the colour in my home:

Time for some testers?

Thecatsmother17 · 17/07/2017 19:27

I have bought a tester today but haven't got round to trying it out.

We have just used this in our bedroom- it looks different in the changing light, but beautiful in all instances. As with all Little Greene paints you get a great finish and what you pay for.

I just did a test patch and it's dark grey. The instagram pictures look blue with an almost purple tone.

So confused!

I have it in my bathroom. I think it looks more blue in the day and more grey in the eve/electric light- here's a picture I've just taken

I love juniper ash! we have it as an fireplace surround next to clay mid woodwork and walls. it looks awesome. its a beautiful pure blue -grey. it plays really nicely with James too. its honestly one of my favourite little green colours. trying to work out where else we can use it...

ellequick · 18/07/2017 11:00

Oooh BumbleNova I've been trying to decide which other shade to use and had been considering James... think you've just made up my mind. Thanks!

Thecatsmother17 · 18/07/2017 12:04

I'm only getting more confused now 😂
It looks very dark grey in ThisOne's picture.

Colours are always going to be different on a monitor or phone screen to real life. Also, I think the point with these more expensive paints like Farrow and Ball and Little Greene (and the much, much more expensive brands) is that the pigmentation is more complex, which makes them different in different lights. Truly, the only way to know how it will look on your wall and whether you like it, is to put it on the wall you are considering and see how it looks over a few days.
