this one is 8000. I think you need a column variety as they're the ones that seem to have the high BTU.

Thanks for looking
Do higher btu actually exist?
Struggling to find one!

9000 btu is, according to my calculations, about 2.6kWh, quite normal for a biggish living room.

You will get more even and comfortable heat from a long low rad than a short tall one, and it will not heat the ceiling so much. It will be more comfortable if you have a rad at each end of the room. Upsizing them a bit will mean that if one end of the room is cooler than the other, the rad will output more heat to maintain comfort. The TRVs will prevent overheating and wasting energy.

Here is a 1600W single 1600mm long

Here is a 2800W double 1600mm long

It is preferable to upsize rads as (1) their nominal output is an overestimate because of unrealistic assumptions in the calculation and (2) oversized rads will heat the room quicker from cold.

The TRVs will prevent overheating or energy wastage.

Just googled it and lots came up!

Agreed with piglet John, in fact better then one long one would be two or more separate radiator with as big gap as you can.

Thanks for the info
The space is a large open plan kitchen /diner but no space for radiator in kitchen section
So 2 small low rads would be better than 1 tall one
Thanks
