Help! How do I change this lightbulb!

Exactly that - any idea how I change this lightbulb? Can't get at it from the top - at least not that I can see so far! Tried twisting, pushing; please could someone give me a hint!

We have similar and you have to twist the metal surround so that it comes off, then you can twist the bulb itself. Does that work?

You need to pop off the metal surround first then the bulb. Put something between the ceiling the the metal to jimmy it off

The glass twists but makes a worrying noise. Neither silver ring will budge

I'd look up the model of spotlight/bulb on YouTube - there's sure to be a tutorial!

Try putting a knife between the metal surround and the ceiling and gently pushing the surround away.
It might then need a twist- mine were kept in by metal wings.
Google "how to change a covered recessed light bulb" and look at YouTube- you might need to watch a few videos to find a light that matches yours but I did with mine!

Would google it but need to get the bulb out to see what it is so I can buy a new one!

We got a tiny sucker with our light fitting ( that has bulbs like this)

Is there a ring of wire holding the bulb in? Looks as though there may be from the photo.

Don't use a knife! There is a little metal ring just inside the the light and you squeeze the ends together and the light can then be taken off.

Decided to go with burntoutmum first so hopped off to B&Q for a sucker thing. No go, did nothing.

Thought about listening to MyCalmX but no squeezable bits (I think you match all the YouTube videos I watched, but definitely no go with my light).

Knife it was. And success. If in doubt.... attack it with a knife
