How often do you chase your Estate Agents when selling?

I'm in the process of selling and I'm curious as to how you all deal with your estate agents whilst waiting for them to get viewings.

Are you someone who is laidback and waits for them to get in touch when there's something to tell you or are you someone who is on the phone every day asking what's being done and questioning where your potential buyers are?

I wanted to get a feel for how we all deal with their agents, I think it would be useful for people.

I think it entirely depends on whether they are getting viewings for you - we didn't have to chase to find out if anyone wanted to view because they rang us every week to get one or two viewings booked in.

We did chase them when we had a buyer on the hook because they decided unilaterally to forget about the couple who had offered on our house but who subsequently lost their buyer. Thanks to DP we kept them and they eventually bought the house.

I chased weekly. Didn't go down well but I don't care!
