Can I ask where you all create your room floor plans/ layouts?

We are looking at quite a large renovation of our 150-year-old Victorian end terrace house and I'm keen to get some ideas drafted up. Any recommendations appreciated.

I use professional software and also an iPad software . Some example links at end of post - having the software is one bit - knowing what to safely do with it is quite another ! So if you do do some planning yourselves - do get it all safety checked by a relevant professional before you start your project - just be be in the safe side !

Thank you, appreciated. Definitely will be getting professionals in! We're just at the very very early stages and putting ideas down and seeing if whether they are actually feasible.
I'm not sure our budget will stretch and whether it's worth doing it or whether we should buy a bigger house? We currently have a very small mortgage £40k and have equity (approx 30-40k) which could be released to renovate.
We definitely need an extra bedroom at some point (currently 28 weeks pregnant with DS and already have 6yo DD)
