how much roughly for a new bathroom?

We have a dated bathroom that I want to get rid if the bath and just make a nice modern family shower room. It's not a huge room so has anyone had any recent quotes roughly what I am looking at.

Be aware that the fitting can cost as much as the actual bathroom

Cost will depend on whether you want new flooring, lighting, tiling and how upmarket you want to go with fittings.
I've bought 2 bathrooms in the last 5 years, including some building work and fitting each was about £10k obviously much less if no building work, fitting etc required.

You would be lucky to get it done for less than £5k.

Think I paid £4.5k for fitting inc tiling and electrics and maybe £2.5 or £3k on stuff.

We paid 8k all in for fairly large bathroom with separate bath and shower. Mid-range level fittings

Should say the above didn't include lighting or any decorating that wasn't tiles

We've just had ours done. Everything back in original position but new suite, new tiling, new window etc etc. We decorated ourselves. Was 5.5k.

Regular sized bathroom. Completely refit 2 years ago. Old bathroom ripped out. Some new floor boards. Plastered, painted and half tiled. New ceiling and light fittings. Medium range fittings. £10K in the South East.

I'm in the south east so I guess anything up to about £10,000 ! more than I though but as I do need new flooring and tiles. better start getting some quotes.
