Kitchen Tile Help Needed Please

Ive just decided on Howdens Fairford antique white cupboards with an oak worktop and flooring. Im stuck on tiles. I fancy a sage green metro tile but Im worried it may look dull. I dont mind two or three different colours on the wall but I may be out of touch and what would you mix with sage green anyway.

If I put a cream metro tile on the walls does anyone know if there is a nice sage green paint colour I could go for.

I also like the acrylic splash backs.

I dont live in the UK so cant chose for myself. Its a case of me saying the builders - go and chose something along these lines and I'll make the final decision.

Help please.

Thank you.

The ivory metro tiles in the howdens promo pics looks good - a good match to the door will keep things neutral - then is suggest an ivory wall paint to as an initial colour - as colour is a personal thing - so easy for anyone else buying on your behalf to get wrong - so maybe wait to add your greens when you get here - you may find that the ivory gives you more light bouncing around and you can add green accessories like kettle toaster and tea towels etc and that will be enough ?!

We have the Antigue white with wood work top. The tiles are white Laura Ashley, with a self pattern. ( all put in by the previous owner). It all looks lovely, clean and fresh and does not jar with the old building.
The wall are a strong colour in a mid tone.
