House Viewings

We're live on rightmove as of this morning and the calls have started from the agents with regards viewings. I have the first one booked for tomorrow and the house is a sauna!

As I will be out I can't leave the windows open so it will be stiffling! Can I leave all the blinds down, with just a little bit at the bottom to let light in. It would keep it cooler but would it be odd? It wont exactly show the light flooding in...Which would you prefer?

I thought about this situation this morning because we'll hopefully be in this situation in a week or so.

Can you ask the agent to open the blinds and windows and close them again afterwards?

Good luck with the viewings!

I work for an EA - if the client is out then the person doing the viewing turns up 15 mins early to open curtains / switch on lights etc, totally normal for you to tell your agent to do it.

Make sure you tell your agent to open windows etc. Dont assume theyll just do it.

thanks all, back to cleaning now, and pretending we don't actually live like this....
