I hate the doors

We are in the middle of an extension. We are over budget. We have bought a set of door for £700. I absolutely hate them. We could buy some cheaper ones from wicked for £360 and sell the expensive ones but feel unsure. Should I just live with it or change?

If you already hate them, change them. In the grand scheme of things, it's £300 - a drop in the bucket - for you not to have the whole extension spoiled every time you look at the doors.

You're absolutely right but my husband seems really resistant

Why do you hate them?

Honestly doesn't really matter, if you hate them get rid, once the works done you'll just live with them and seeth every time you have to walk past or through them

They don't go with the look I've created. We've got (at least I think lol) a traditional look with a contemporary twist but the doors are just chunky and modern.

I feel this is so irrelevant especially in light of those who have lost everything in the fire in London.

Get rid. I didn't replace the horrid plywood doors in my old house (had previously been a BTL done on the cheap) despite doing loads of other work, and they irritated me until the day I moved out.

We have nasty doors but no funds to replace them now. Do it.
