Smeg fridge leaking brown water

Why would a fridge leak brown water from the bottom? Admittedly it's old and knackered, the door seal need replacing and it's rusty, but this is a new development.

Probably rust staining the water.

Have you tried cleaning the condensate gutter and pipe, and the collection dish at the back?
