Renovating Engineered wood flooring?

I've had engineered wood flooring for 10 years and it's now looking well worn in places. Has anyone had theirs sanded and resealed? Any advice welcome please.

I am thinking about this too as a temporary fix before extending.

Anyone?

I haven't had it done but as long as the veneer is as think as possible (7mm plus) you can sand it down at least once. You could contact the manufacturer for guidance.

Thanks Bubblesbuddy. Anyone had it done?

We sanded our flooring back a few years ago and finished it with Osmo oil and it still looks fantastic. We shopped around and found this website to be very helpful.

staceyturnbull1989,

which Osmo oil did you use for floor?

staceyturnbull1989 · 24/07/2017 15:58

We used Osmo clear satin 3032. Very easy to apply and looks great!

Thanks staceyturnbull1989. Did you hire a floor sander and do it yourself?

I had mine sanded and re-sealed and it looks great. It was done as part of a general refurb so I can't remember exactly how much it was unfortunately.
