Help choosing kitchen colours please

I am planning a budget makeover of my kitchen. Other than the worktop it is in good condition, just not to my taste (very brown).

The only thing I need to keep as it is is the floor (photo attached). Inspired by another thread I hope to use a company to respray the units. They can refurbish and spray the worktop too (photo of colour choices also attached) but I don't know what colour to go for. I was thinking cream for the units.

Alternatively I could paint the units myself and put the money towards a new wooden worktop but I worry about doing a poor job.

Thank you in advance.

Wondered about something like this if I go for cream units?

Have a look online for wooden work tops, they're so much cheaper - I think we got our whole kitchen done for £60 for a beech worktop

I would go for white or Ivory units (rather than a more yellow cream). And from those choices I'd have the middle one on the second row down to pick up the grey in the floor tiles and move away from the brown.

Thank you - I hadn't bought about picking up the grey but I would prefer that

I would love wooden work tops but worried they would be difficult an expensive to retrofit, has anyone done it?

Thanks again.
